4th of July Celebration
Come one, come all! We love to see our friends and neighbors and welcome the visiting tourists. We host a variety of vendors including Food, Music, Arts & Crafts, and more! Each year you can expect a parade, fireworks, and to walk away with great new memories.
We start the day:
Birch Grove Community School – Tofte Trek sponsored by Sugarbush Trail Association.
7:45 am – Registration – T-shirts to the first 200 10k registrants
9:00 am – 10 km walk start
9:05 am – Kids (4-12 yr. old) Sprint Races
9:20 am – 1-mile youth race
9:30 am – 10 km run start
Let’s continue the fun:
Tofte Park Road
11:00 am: Bouncy houses, several craft vendors, live music by The Southpaws, beer garden, food vendors including Lutsen Fire Fish Stand, Double D’s Catering, Zoar Lutheran Church, and more.
12:30 pm: Parade line up begins at the Tofte Ranger Station.
2:00 pm: Parade Begins on Tofte Park Road. Bring your candy bucket or pillowcase to collect as much sugar as you can grab!
Directly after the Parade, Tofte Township names Citizen of the Year award commending their hardwork and dedication they’ve put forward towards our community.
The evening Finale –
10:00 pm: Fireworks at the Tofte Town Park.
*Fireworks will be held on July 5th if it rains us out.
** DO NOT BE ON THE LAKE TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS. DO NOT CROSS OVER THE FIREWORK TEAM BOUNDARIES FOR SAFTEY PURPOSES.
